Happy New Year! How Are Your Doggy-Resolutions Going?

Happy New Year from Bedtime4Dogs!

Snowy St. Bernard

It takes 21 days to make a habit-how are your doggy resolutions going so far? Every day is a new day-let us help even if it's not quite January...

The start of a new year is a great time to try something new. It’s a clean slate, and what better way to start out the year than by treating your furry friend right? Below are five resolutions you can take to assure your dog and you have a happy, tail waggin’ year. :)

  1. Commit to taking your dog to the park at least twice a week. Walks around the block are great- but parks offer so much space, and so many smells! Plus it’s an opportunity to socialize, both for you and your dog.
  2. Teach your dog a new trick this year. This is an awesome way to get your dog thinking and stimulated, making for a healthier and happier pet.
  3. Consider getting your dog a new bed! Torn beds not only look messy but can also pose a health risk to your dog (dogs may chew/swallow stuffing). Take a look at our beds here: https://www.bedtime4dogs.com/collections/beds
  4. Splurge for a microchip. Microchips are not trackable, but they can be scanned, providing information such as the dog’s name, their owner, and their address. This can be invaluable if your dog loses their collar. The best part? They’re not as expensive as you think! Microchipping your dog can cost as little as $50.00.
  5. Make sure you and your dog are getting a good night sleep! For you, try abstaining from your phone, or any other screen 30 minutes before you go to bed. And for the dog, try our bedtime bones, we promise your dog will love them! https://www.bedtime4dogs.com/collections/bones
